![]() Sometimes the Unifi devices get disconnected from the controller and then we need to re-connect them. Check and ensure your security settings are correct. Unifi has published an Advisory To Change the password and enable 2F authentication after an incident. During the configuration or in the initial setup of USG, you may need to reset the USG Pro-4 to factory default settings and start the configuration again. Navigate to the “Settings” of the controller to configure the Ubiquiti Unifi Secure Gateway. Log in to the “ Controller“, navigate to “ Site” and then “ Adopt” the USG. Follow the steps shown in the image below. Inform the controller using the command “ or hostname-of-controller:8080/inform” to allow the controller to adopt the USG Pro-4. In case it asks for a username and password use the Ubiquiti Unifi default username and password. The above step will take us directly to the next page. Click “Proceed”, to enter into the USG configuration page. The default IP of USG Pro-4 is 192.168.1.1.Īccess the secure gateway by. If DHCP is enabled then the local laptop will automatically pick up the IP.
